Originally designed as a snow clearing robot, later retrofitted with a scratch-built diesel flamethrower. A project I undertook with my good friend Sav Sidorov who made the video below and helped get us funding.
● Uses a standard automotive fuel pump and a pressure washer nozzle to create a 7’ to 10’ jet of flame
 ● Chassis was designed in SolidWorks, cut by a fabricator and then bent by the team using a press brake at a makerspace
● Used a variety of machine shop tools including angle grinders and pneumatic drills in the assembly process 
● Almost every component on the robot is custom, the main exception being the tracks and the electronics which are off the shelf
